Provides hamper program for students with food insecurity as well as offers free breakfast every Wednesday in SUB from 8:30-10:30AM. They also provide cooking lessons, snack stations around campus, and a grocery bus to transport students to grocery stores.

The University of Alberta Health Centre offers gender affirming care from two physicians: Dr. Durand and Dr. Mortera. They can get students started on hormones, make referrals for top and bottom surgery, etc. Outside of gender affirming care, they can provide support to students for any medical needs.
The Diversity in Engineering (DivE) Group advocates for the retention and inclusion of traditionally underrepresented groups in engineering. Through research, programming, outreach, and promotion of best practices, we take an intersectional approach to achieve a supportive environment that fosters the growth and learning of all students. DivE is a student-led initiative that is supported by the Faculty of Engineering and the Engineering Students’ Society (ESS).
The service is an innovative program which offers a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and management of Gender Dysphoria. It provides comprehensive assessments and facilitates gender-affirming interventions to help individuals lead full comfortable lives. This service offers: psychiatry, endocrinology, pediatric and adolescent medicine and nursing support, referrals to surgery and other specialties, and information about community supports.

The Trans ID Clinic seeks to assist individuals with the legal process of changing their names and gender markers. The Trans ID Clinic can help individuals complete the necessary documentation. Free notarization services are offered.

Wellness Supports has a team of social workers providing supportive case management services to students on a one-to-one basis. They work with students to strengthen mental health and wellbeing, share resources, make referrals, and can assist in areas of housing, finances, academics, personal wellness, etc.
